The Mobile Battery Service Station (MBSS) from AD Elektronik GmbH allows fast and battery conserving charging of battery packs from Medtronic and AD for the LIFEPAK® defibrillator series.
The internal switching power supply allows worldwide operation, tolerant of voltage and frequency changes. For use in emergency vehicles, the MBSS will run from the 12V vehicle power supply, or simultaneously with a mains supply to conserve vehicle battery power.
The impulse charging algorithm allows for fast but gentle charging of Fastpak® and LIFEPAK® NiCd batteries. The average duration for charging NiCd batteries is about 40 minutes. The CCCV charging algorithm allows safe charging of LIFEPAK® SLA and HighPak® batteries.
The Mobile Battery Service Station is fully automatic in operation, making it user friendly. Periodic automatic conditioning mode in conjunction with "smart battery" technology prevents memory effect. Over charging is impossible.
The MBSS operates without the need for distracting internal fans. A stainless steel wall mount is also available - contact Medical Device Services for more information.
