The PSI 300 patient simulator allows real-time simulation of monitoring data and vital parameters, including ECG, temperature, respiration, invasive blood pressure and cardiac output.
Full 12-lead ECG simulation is available using individually connected electrodes. The device imulates sinus rhythm with variable frequencies, amplitudes and ST characteristics. It also simulates a range of arrythmias including conduction defects.
Respiration is simulated using the ECG electrodes by means of impedance pneumatography.
Invasive blood pressure is simulated with 4 individually programmable blood pressure channels. There is a choice of 7 different static pressures for each channel, with adjustible pressure courses and simulation of the Swan-Ganz procedure. Pressure courses include arterial pressure, left ventricular pressure, central venous pressure, right ventricular pressure, pulmonary artery pressure and pulmonary capillary wedge pressure.
Temperature can be simulated between 34 and 48 degrees centigrade using a standard thermistor.
Cardiac output measurement is simulated using the thermodilution method.
Battery powered for optimum portability, the PSI 300 features simple keypad operation with a clear 40x4 character display.
